Valver dash/where does this wire go

Hello, Im trying to fix my outside air temperature gauge, I have taken the clocks out and removed all the plugs from behind the clocks, but the green one (see pic) thats the one that plugs into the temp display, it has a yellow wire loose. can anymone tell me which slot it goes back in ???

does the connector not have a metal contact which doesnt have a wire going to it at the back, they dont usually have just a full row of contacts, only contacts where a wire is connected behind

cheers for reply. Thats what I thought, but all have a terminal (so to speak) I think its the 3rd from the end but cant be sure.

I will try and find a scrapper, cut the wires off plug and solder wires back together with new plug!!
