  Focus RS Mk1
So your subs are rated to 300Wrms which means they will need an amp capable of around 600wrms. Over two channels of course. Many mono block amps will come with connections to run two subs. But...You should never really have an amp on full gain. will either burns itself out or just switch off if it has heat protection! Also you would loose a lot of qaulity at high gain. So youd be needing something capable of kicking out 250-300 wrms easily all day long.

This is what id suggest:

Audison Amp ^^^

Now this is if your going to do it properly! but no doubt you'l want to spend less than that! so why not look at two inidividual amps...

Directed amp ^^^ although you wont see 300wrms with those as youd have have them at full gain. but youd safly get 200wrms all day long. @ £99 each you could buy two for £198 and be happy! plus they are great amps! not some cheap lanzar shite!

Or:

this is on offer at the moment, as above will struggle to see the full 600wrsm you need but would easily do 450-500 constant.

Some options for you there and some things to think about. remember its not all about peak power n the more rms the better, think about qaulity and things like that. some cheapy lanzar amp off ebay will look cheap, sound cheap and you'l most likely get rid in favour of something nicer later on. so buy once, buy right!

You do not need a 600wrms amp. You need a genuine 300 wrms amp at the most. Running an amp at full gain does not effect the power output of the amp at all so running it at full gain will make no difference whatsoever. FACT. the gain is a device for matching levels between different speaker and the headunit in the system.
that info you gave is wrong im afraid!

I'm running my JBL GT4-12 off a JBL 75.2 amp bridged and it sounds dandy to me. I'd say they're one of the better budget brands imo, the newer stuff is much better than past stuff.

Actually the gain matches the input level of the amplifier to the voltage level of the headunits pre-outs.
