Which Exhaust for 182

  C250 AMG & 172 Cup
as title says, i want the best exhaust for all round power gains, dont care about the cost of it whethere is 200 or 1200.

A friend told me magnex, ive always had magnex on my 106 gtis and they were fantastic, is this the same for the clio

I will be getting sports/de-cat and already got ITG Maxogen induction kit

If you want the best bar none, and i mean bar none, hang round for a little while.

The prototype is currently stuck in customs with a whopping big tax bill for me to pay because it looks so fancy :(

I have a cat back magnex on my 182 .. its sweet as and there customer service with regards to warranty claims (when you finally speak to the right person) is second to none :)

you'll be looking at orbisound/btb or if you can wait what ben's working on if you value power and quality. All the usual big name off the shelf stuff will be restricted due to the noise level most people will put up with and emissions issues. Decat or a very free flowing low cell sports cat is the way to go.

You get what you pay for at the end of the day.

If you dont care about cost then your looking at spending £700 + for orbisoud, BTB or AWT.

I will be getting an AWT when they are available although I need to see the BTB one first and unfortunately for me cost is a factor.

I quite like the look of the Orbisound one tbh!!

How does this system sound anyone know?

yup, you want the best, you do need to have to wait, only a short while tho, as BTB is nearly done.

your looking at around 950 for full manifold back system, which de-cats the car.

a few spy shots... not best quality or size, but you get idea!!

fmp. A few Qs on the exhaust.

Why two back boxes not one like an Orbisoud?

What bore is the pipe?

Are the silencers chambered?

What options will you offer ie louder and a sports cat?

Are you doing before and after RR?

Does it have a removeable decat section?

Price seems high for that money I would want a sports cat aswell.

Ben i want your exhaust. When is it available? Rumour had it around February. Its now April ;)

Tyson.

Custom components made in the states arrive tomorrow!!!

It has cost AWT about a grand just to have the prototype components made!

Thats not even the full exhaust!

But dont worry, prototype costs are always high compared to end result.

  Audi A6 (S3 on order)
Get down the post office then !!! I'm excited.

This is the road system based on the Race Cup version. It has the same 60mm main tubing bore and nicer tail pipes. The noise level is quite acceptable ( around 96 Db ) though a little bit loud at 3000 rpm.

I was beta tester for this exhaust line and have put all my influence on them to get a system that improves low rpm torque rather than high rpm power like the Race Cup one.
The result is nice...

It is available direct from Orbisoud.
Just send them a mail [info@orbisoud.com].
I can get a good rebate from them...

I have just seen a few pics of parts of the new AWT system and it looks pretty fcuking amazing! Different to anything else I have seen before.

Will look forward to seeing some power graphs for BTBs and AWTs exhausts. Nice to see some developement going into 182 tuning parts well done to Ben and the Shed motorsport boys.

I'm sure that Ben will develop the best system around... as usual.

Blueflame is 63mm bore and a good compromise between cost (<£300) and performance in my view. Quality / fit is good too.
