Yes another Magnex question !

After 6 pages of trolling & searching through the various threads there's still no answer to my question !

So The question :- I have a twin exit 3.5 Magnex.Now forum members indicates that the Magnex has issues with the size of the backbox and the hangers.I have a 2000(X) 172 (Mk 2 Ph1) someone can clarify ? so where does the extra hanging bracket get fitted to ? The only place that I can see that the bracket get bolted/welded to the underneath the spare wheel wall ? Before I get the drill or the welder out can someone please point me in the right direction !

Your 172 is a Mk2 Ph1. When you buy the exhaust you get an extra mounting bracket that gets fitted under the existing rear bracker. It has a bar that goes over the top of the back box and attahed, by rubber mount, to the mounting on the driver's side of the backbox.

Mate your a life saver thanks very much! Can exactly see where to go now ! No drilling or welding needed ! Just goes to show that the professionals miss guidance.Just a thought has the forum ever discussed a F.A.Q. (Frequently asked question) section for this site ? Stops the newbie's (Me) asking the same old question ?
