Todays work was a winter PC'ing for both Steves cup (my old 172) and my 182. We washed them down yesterday, chamoised and left to dry over night, and were greeted with two dry Renault sports
oooopps, who forgot to wash the boot??
After washing the boot again, it was time to remove my broken ish splitter, for a new replacement :approve:
Then we taped up the cars ready for PC'ing, masking all rubbers and plastics that can come into contact wth the polisher,
The prducts to be used. Menzerna Intensive polish (only local areas) Final Finish, and Collinites wax :approve:
No during PC'ing (steve has some pics to follow), but here are the results,
Mmmmmmm goldness
and fluff lol,
Just the splitter left to fit......
Finished. Never even started the cup :dapprove: , that lot above took 6 hrs!!!! It was only a light correction too lol!!! (some pics didn't some out too good was getting late)
Quick wipe and vaccum inside,
Big thanks to Steve (birchdown Autos, for all 172/182 servicing
) for help and use of workshop
