just gotta play the wating game now till jon lets me know hes had the head sorted.
think its only snapped cos of the carriers come loose and its got trapped some how.
Not sure about the valves tbh, think there alright, sure jon will check them tho.

Jons sorted the head where the carrier bolt sheard off and where the other one enlarged slightly, everything works fine now, all thats left is to strip it back down then re-build it and shim the cams up.
I got 5litres of Mobil 1 15w/40 yesterday along with 2litres of anti-freeze.
f0xy is picking up the metal tmoz for whats needed to sort the subframes out

went to jords (f0xy) factory last nite to weld the new bars in (as he got them yesterday afternoon) onto the OMP subframes ive got...

alot better than they were apart form one thing!... the drivers seat is about 15mm to the right, so that needs centralising (drilling new holes into the subframes) will do once the cars up and running again.

very similar to how they were tbh, think im gonna move it forward a touch in abit so i can step the front up a notch so i can have abit of lean on lol, just as long as it feels right at the clutch pedal lol, need to sentralise it too!

Seems as it was my 21st on saterday i got quite abit of money, and ive been saving up for a while so thought whilst the engines in bits ill get a few new goodies...
Jenvey DTH 42mm bodies
Jenvey 90mm trumpets
Pico 330cc injectors
Pipercross 600 series filter with 125mm internal diameter...
Mat from Northwest performance has these bodies but with 45mm trumpets and the same injectors and his made 165bhp & 119lbs ft when mapped at the same place as mine, so im hopeing for in and around that region when mapped again, maybe a touch more as i also have larger exhaust valves where as Mat doesnt.
More news on the engine, jon is coming round mine tomorrow late afternoon/evening to re-fit the head and ive asked whist jons still got the head hes going to bolt the bodies to the head and do the throttle linkage, then wednesday ill do the injectors and fuel rail, then thursday do the trumpets, base plate & filter, then friday cut the bonnet for where the filter will be peaking through.

and pop round at the weekend if the filters arrived by then, ill let you know.
Jon arrived at 5pm with the head sorted and the bodies bolted to it and the linkage all sorted... then got cracking so on went new head gasket, then the head, then the cams, cam belt and cover, engine mount, alternator, coolant hoses, all the wiring connectors...
Stuff to do -
-Brake servo as i need the connector to go into the head where the injector blanks go
-Auxilery belt
-Fuel rail and injectors (i fked up one of the seals inside the rail as i didnt realise that id have to file even more off the end as i was too impatient)
-Throttle cable (going to need a new one as this one will only just about reach)
-Manifold and exhaust
-Coil pack and leads
-Coolant and Oil
-Then change the oil again just to make sure all the swarf out the engine
-Trumpets and back plate when they arrive
-Cut the bonnet to suit.

lol mines 103DB and will probs be louder with the bigger bodies on... good job i have a spare centre section with a silencer in as atm i just have manifold, pipe then backbox lol

Just spoke to jon, he'll be here soon, with the trumpets, helicoiling tool, brake servo connection and hose, and the fuel rail, so itll be getting started later :approve:, but the filter and back plate wont be here till late next week so thatll have to wait
