This 172 worth a punt?

Belts were done in the last 500 miles with a receipt to prove. I know they weren't done by Btm or birchdown but surely not every clio owner goes to a cs specialist!

I looked at this and thought the aux belt squeeling was odd, sounds like they didn't replace the tensioner.

Either that or the paperwork is fake.

I have a spare, 40k miles one that i will throw in for free.

Thats about as much use as a catflap in a submarine.

I wouldn't say it's worth that. I have learnt the hard way by buying a 172 with no history as my last one soon developed problems. If I was you I'd spend the extra £500 odd and get one from here with history and belts done right. Will save you money in the long run!

It's a £900 clio, I wouldn't be worried about history and belts tbh. I'd get the timing checked though.

Probably gonna end up going for this one if the misfire problem turns out just to be the coil pack or something simple;
