ordered 1/2meter of 2.75'' stainless for a new tailpipe to replace the 4'' inwardly rolled

Should look good that mate.

I love driving about with the yellow fogs on... although somewhat a chav/bradford thing to do, it looks damn cool. JDM y0

cant wait to get it swapped, will probs do it over the weekend or next week when my mates free!

Thought they would have been more, to replace the type r decals on the sides it was £40+ for me!

Aye I saw that. Mine are Tegiwa replicas, you can't tell the difference

Had some horrible ebay reps on it when I bought it

badges were like 8quid off ebay, I aint paying 80quid lol

service items, only cheap ones for now as im gonna see how it runs on 10w40
as the oil's leaking from the headgasket slightly, not running out and dripping
on the floor, just seeping out around the front left corner/3/4'' along the
front -

IMG_3565_zps9a2aee79.webp

whilst the car was up in the air I removed the air-resonater box, quite heavy -

IMG_3566_zps0956bf92.webp

then de-greased all the painted white areas in the bay -

IMG_3567_zps3c885709.webp

then gave it a bath now its on the drive not sat under trees now the fiestas
gone :)

IMG_3568_zpsca66f0b3.webp

IMG_3576_zpse74f30af.webp

removed this as the position of it was doing my head in as its not central so ive ordered some new ones off ebay -

IMG_3577_zps844c56a8.webp

IMG_3599_zps0841f641.webp

and the second centre silencer looks like its been bodged in for some strange reason I don't know why when it has a large centre silencer as it is and a large back box -

IMG_3598_zps3a890f82.webp

may de-cat it but going to see how the fuelling is first after the rolling road session at EFI sunday!

ive lowered it 5mm on the rear and 10mm on the front since these pics, I will be changing the suspension for dampening adjustable coilovers in the next 2-3months before i'll be taking it on track

I also bought some Ferodo DS2500's for 98spec calipers as I was told my car had Civic MB6 Calipers and I was told again all Honda 282mm brake calipers were the same... so they turned up yesterday and they were 20-30mm too long *sigh* turns out I have MG ZS 180/ZR 160 Calipers after reading up on the previous thread for this car as aparently they're the same as Civic MB6 calipers but these are different to the 98specs/ukdm/prelude/nsx/ATR 282mm brakes... so I sent them back today £13quid postage bloody rip off and I've bought some MG ZS 180 Ferodo DS2500's off ebay, they better be the right ones this time for £167

so, hopefully the correct ds2500's will be here tomorrow

also bought some correct size/22mm purple polybushes for the rear anti roll bar as atm it has the 98spec 24mm black polybushes so you can see daylight inbetween the bush and roll bar *facepalm to whoever fitted them*, hopefully they'll be here before the weekend!

ive also bought a Blox Velocity stack air filter kit from America hopefully that'll be here before next weekend, if you don't know what one of these is here it is - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... OC:GB:3160

meant to give the maximum gain over any filter/airbox on these

So awesome.

I really want to stick mine on rollers just out of curiosity.

should do id highly recommened scoff/eif parts especially withy being near to us!

my mate had his ep3 on the rollers on the same day, 02plate with just a hks backbox and a k&n induction kit which is placed right next to the exhaust manifold haha, it hade 196bhp 143lbs ft, I had a go with it on the way there and I pulled away and I had a passenger, I was surprised but it must be purely down to the extra ~250kgs they have and the extra 500rpm these have

Where abouts is that mate?

I would hope mine has a little more with a straight through, n1 backbox and the hondata airbox mod.
Who knows!

Who knows!

Runcorn mate on the industrial estate there ive forgotten the name of it!
probs say 200bhp with that and just being down to the airbox as the K&N on my mates is dreadful, great for vtec roar but such a bad design kit!

Astmoor Industrial Estate ;)

that's the one!

pads and bushes still havnt arrived yet

I went to a dc2/ek9 breakers yesturday to get a parcel shelf as the car didn't come with one, whilst I was there I got a spark plug cover, fitted it when I got home and removed the expansion tank too -

IMG_3623_zps90ee3f49.webp

cant wait for the new filter kit to arrive

I also got a new pcv valve while I was there as I snapped mine when trying to remove it to clean it as its meant to reduce smoke on vtec , notta clue how but yeh, I tried and failed to remove it so I got one for a 5er from the breaker (160+vat from Honda lol), taken a good hour to fit it with getting the old one out with the ball ache of a position its in -

IMG_3621_zps3e718ddf.webp

..and the crap long-nose pliers I have haha
got new h-stickers for the centre caps too, they arrived today, fitted, note the new lowered ride height -

IMG_3624_zps284116f9.webp

IMG_3626_zps0aa326a7.webp

hopefully the pads come tomorrow!

Love these. Some days wish I had tried one before the ep3

my mate says the same he opted for the ep3 just for a newer car that'd get maybe better mpg and be more reliable wear n tear wise altho theres very little if any difference between the two mpg and maintainence wise

so following on from this... ive been sent the wrong pads,BAS***D... been sent MG ZS 1.8 pads instead of 2.5 180 pads, theyre 4mm longer and a lot narrower, total different shape so it isn't worth thinking of keeping and reshaping them a tad, onwards to return them after work if the place is open tomorrow then if they havnt got an 2.5 180's in ill be just getting a refund and getting some Red or Yellow stuff's, had some Redstuffs in my old Zetec S with 300mm brakes and they were awesome!

RARB bushes should be here Thursday as theyre being dispatched tomorrow and so is my Velocity stack kit coming from America!

proper fresh pics after fitting all new stickers, badges and lowering it a tad -

lol, don't know why you're bothering changing the brakes, they were brand new in april, same as the oil, oil filter, sparkplugs......

lol, pads are down to 2mm on the nearside 3mm on the offside and theyre standard pajid's and the oil I wasn't to know what grade was in there plus it had covered a trackday to getting to temps I don't know either that's why

dan@sjm i'll check them out when I do the RARB ones!

returned the pads yesterday and in return I came away with some yellow stuffs as they don't do ds2500's for these calipers and a 95quid refund too...

so, pads that are the correct size -

IMG_3640_zps38eee2af.webp

fitted -

IMG_3643_zps6844a75a.webp
