Riggers' Primera P10 trackcar

I've emailed Javelin to see what discount they can offer. I stated it would be a track in the middle of the country like Oulton, Donington or Cadwell so it's fair for all members. Also stated it would be either early spring or late Autumn so not to clash with CSF.

If anyone is interested I'll create a threat with a poll for what track to use.

Oulton used to be £1000+vat per hour, not sure what it is now.

little update, bought some new lower arms and extended them 8mm to give it some much needed camber, turns is so so much better now -

fitted a rear almera tino rear wiper arm with the biggest blade possible for a single wiper -

f**k sake, I cant believe Im actually looking at this. It's genuinely terrifying that someone looked at that and went "proper job" and fitted them tbh.

Very little overlap
Little to no structural continuity
Lots of nice places for fatigue cracking to set in
Piss poor welding

I'm all for people being creative and I have no objection to modified parts, but please please take responsibility for doing it properly.

I'm all for people being creative and I have no objection to modified parts, but please please take responsibility for doing it properly.

The 50x25mm 3mm thick box section underneath which has been overly welded is taking all the strength, them tabs ontop are just for added bracing which again has been welded to the max, they haven't moved or bent flexed in 500 or so spirited miles since fitting them.

Been a while... done cadwell park last wednesday first trackday of the year, considering the weather was forecast torrential rain it never really properly came until dinnertime so inbetween afew showers i managed say 2 90%dry sessions, went home at dinner but still managed 110miles on track in the morning then my driveshaft went on the way home so kind of lucky it wasn't fully dry allday aha. Didn't bother sticking the RSRs on just left it on PS4s on and constantly changing tyre pressures throughout the morning. 5minute highlight video of my quickest laps on the camera and afew slides and spins haha -

then last weekend i swapped the shafts, fitted new droplinks whilst i was at it and gave it a service

the main reason i haven't done much on this or a trackday all year up until now is because i've bought my first house and also in january i bought my all time favourite classic car and been working every week on it haha -

Absolutely awesome day at oulton on Saturday, the wishbones adding a little more camber really have transformed it since oulton 12months ago, got black flagged a couple of times for drifting and track limits at old hall but the guys were cool. Managing 2.04/5s which is oly 2 seconds slower than my DC2 was with no diff and 40bhp down! made a vid of some quick clear laps and highlights -

Awesome time for its power to weight mate, great driving as well. You're not leaving much, if anything out there. Ditching the passenger and better track rubber and you'd match the Teg's times I reckon. Cant beat these low powered N/A's tearing up track days. Bet the track day hero's in their high powered road cars cant believe theyre getting bummed by an old Primera.

Cheers mate! Yeah say AR1s its'd be another second a lap quicker at least for sure! Not chasing times at all tho just maximising the car!

My mate has made an edit of some exterior and paddock clips and a good session with a pedal cam after he threw a couple of Go Pros in my car (i only have a Contour HD /pre gopro camera haha)
