Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

At lunchtime today the sun was enough to dry the rear of the car before I'd finished.

As long as the water doesn't freeze you'll be fine.

The only issue I have with this weather is drying becomes a right ballache unless the sun is shining bright.

It's all the water that gets caught in all the creases... In the summer I dry and leave it for a while to evaporate but in the winter that doesn't happen :(

Always give it a spritz of QD nowadays.

If I take it to the next level and buy a machine and bits I probably would buy a cheap blower.

Can anyone suggest a Hoover for inside the car I want something small an compact.

Use eraser for glass, I find most dedicated glass cleaners are a pain to leave a smear free finish.

What glass sealant chaps?

Do i get the Carpro FlyBy 30 or the Gtechniq G1 (CYC have none in stock) which seems to be a bit of messing to apply?

Its to be used on my van as that is my day to day.

G1 is far superior to flyby30 IMO. It's pretty easy to apply and remove as well.

I like the performance and idea behind hydr02, but f@ck the cost of it
