A few problems that are driving me mad !!

Rev problem could be a sticky throttle or possibly a TDC sensor. Clean the TB first if not get it on the computer to see if any codes have been thrown up!

rain after clay and before wax

Wash the car, then dry with a microfibre towel and polish. Then wax it! By the way, wtf are you waxing in this weather? It's far too cold for that carry on!! You'll find it extremely hard to get the wax to cure!!

    Xenon and squirting Issues !!!!

The squirting for the washer jets is spot on. They all work like that. They use the same type of pump as the front/rear window jets. It's a two way pump with each jet attached to 1 output. So the the pump fires 1 way, then the other, hence the odd squirting. As for the bulbs, renault genuine...

    Knocking OSF under Braking

Check the track rod end ball joints and also where the rod connects to the rack. Also check your engine mounts, particularly the dogbone and gearbox mounts.

    Gearstick... stick replacement?

Easy enough done! You need to remove the heatshield, and possibly the exhaust. I just futtered around it, as taking off was too much hassle. Iirc there are 4 bolts holding the stick in and 1 to attach to the linkage. this may be useful to you...

    starting problems!

It's fuel injected, so shouldn't need any acceleration to start it. There's a problem somewhere. Could be a TDC sensor or maybe a coolant temp sensor. Could even be a faulty throttle. I'd ask the garage to pay for it to be diagnosed on a Renault Clip computer. Shouldn't be more than £50 from...

    Mayo buildup

Looks perfectly normal for those engines! Especially with it being colder these days! If you start losing coolant, then panic. If not, drive on!!

    HELP!

No, the code will still be there. It will show up as an historic code and not a current fault. As said, you've probably just got water in something electrical and it didn't like it! Hopefully all fixed now though. Be careful next time you wash her!

    Police view on de-cat's...

My old 1.2 Clio passed with a decat. I'd had problems with a blocked cat, so cut the cat apart, took the insides out and welded it back up. Box was still there, just nothing in it. MOT guy didn't notice and emissions were fine!

    How often?

Mine gets washed at least once a week! Normally gets a full detail every 3-4 months and a top up wax every month! Just fully detailed it this week, so won't be getting much more than a wash until the spring! She's wearing a nice coat of Swissvax Onyx at the minute!
