f**k chatgpt off for starters

Voltage should be 13.8+ when running. Id verify with test meter.

Needs scanning with clip to see whats stored. Might be pedal, tb or wiring at a guess.
im f**king useless with a wrench, as you can see by this thread.

checked with a volt meter and was much lower, highest it got to was 12.8v

Throttle bodies were redone by MS engineering recently so I am pretty sure thats ok. wiring very possibly as ive had all sorted of electrical gremlins but thought the UCH had sorted that.

So battery light is on and when the car is running your battery is showing 12.8v across the two terminals when you check with multi meter? If so your alternator is almost certainly done. You’ll enjoy changing that at the auxiliary tensioner if you’ve still got all the ac in place mate 😂😂

This is my set up but it doesn’t have AC

Gave everything a wiggle and the throttle pedal connector a clean and plugged back in. Started up and all lights out and running normally again, ordered a new throttle pedal. Voltage is still low on the multimeter when running 12.5v

Aux belt was slipping and not charging, new aux belt and a new throttle pedal thrown at it. Saved me a few quid and lots of pain hopefully.

Weather looks good this weekend so will head out and give it a little shakedown.

Not sure what kit it is, garage did the belt change, so hopefully competent enough that if anything needed doing they got it done. Appreciate the insight!

New accelerator pedal arrived today, checked the connector and all looks clean and tidy on the pedal end, wires look in good nick too.

Fitted the new pedal and did my usual short B road loop, no issues, no lights, running much smoother with the new aux belt too. Will take it on a bit of a longer drive this weekend and see if anything else crops up.

Fingers crossed thats it ready for the track season, already booked croft, oulton and donnington for the next 3 months.
