So just because there is paperwork from a garage saying x,y & z on what has been done, ie - Spark plugs being changed - they never actually checked by the looks of it how tight they put them in. 2 out of the 4 were finger tight. i've noticed for a while when sitting in traffic and at lights etc, with the autohold - runs a bit rough etc. had VCDS on it and was showing nothing with regards to misfire etc. However after cleaning the plugs up and actually torquing them up correctly it seems a much happier car.

I have decided to give a skoda a go to replace the previous V60.

Won't be overtaking 335's any more but it's lovely!

Facelift 245 dsg in meteor grey.
Seems to have a decent spec, challenge pack (I think it's called), black pack, winter pack, interior illumination pack.

Weirdly no reverse camera so will be doing an Ali express purchase for the recommended one before my wife drives it 🤣.

It was a toss up between one of these, a Leon Cupra wagon or a Superb 280.

It's like a tardis inside compared to the volvo and although it's only 4 years newer the difference in tech is huge.

Few little bits like a couple of stone chips to sort and needs a damn good polish. Already started looking at bits for it 😃.

2016 S3 Sportback, talk to me. A friend is getting rid of one and I've been offered it cheaper than whatever he would get as a trade in. It's done approx 100k. Completely standard and never really driven hard.

Good idea/bad idea? Could sell the Cayman, get approx £10k back and still have a decent daily.

Unless he has owned it from new i would stay well clear of a 100k S3
So it's never been driven hard he says!?🤔😂😂

Not by him maybe but the other 7 plus owners have kicked the s**t out of it I would say and must of been crashed and stolen at least once even if not recorded.
