another handy tip.. take the pads back out adn coat the side that sits against the caliper ( NOT THE BRAKE DISC !! !!!! ) with copper ease and put them back in, making sure not to get it on your brake discs, or your car wont stop !!

its on the side of the dash, youll see the cover if you open the passenger door, if you look at it, there should be a solid metal link between the two pins, if it is snapped, melted, burnt looking etc, its blown...

the fuse... theres a 5a fuse i nthe fuse box for em... check it first... mini-blade type, should be blue...

for a power cap to power that your looking at £150 anyway... a .5 farad cap will do no good...i just got my cap fitted and it makes a difference, running a 1000w amp

if its a sony headunit and sony changer and connect2 box for a sterring mounted remote, then you should plug the bus connector from the changer direct to the headunit, dont quote me on this though, aint 100% sure, but better than the fifty million suggestions so far :D

mine is 27k and dunno if warranty is still covering it due to mods to the engine... i have noticed a bit of an oily substance on the passenger side driveshaft where it meets the engine.. is this anything to do with it ??

it should definitely tell you what wires it is in the instructions, the constant power appears not to be present, hence why you are not getting anything...

i noticed mine is slipping... if i rev it and bring the clutch up, i can hold the revs up at 4 - 5k even through gear changes, if you get what i mean.. definitely cant pull away as quickly without it slipping... any benefit in putting an uprated / aftermarket clutch in a 1.2 ??

for that amount of power for the amp it should in all but the deepest bass, however, the bigger the better !!

should be under warranty, as I dont see how it would need replaced due to damage by the customer... no idea how much they cost though... but yes, thats why it would cut out and not start etc... could just be a bad ground on it though...

im sure your talking about the immobiliser aerial ring, which is, funnily enough, an antennae round the ignition barrel on the steering column, which dis-arms the immobilieser then the key is within its range, IE, in the ignition...

try looking at pricing a toad AI606, cat1, good alarms, got mine fitted recently, really impressed so far, £280 for the alarm, fitting and a few optional extras...

you can never half enough capacity, because it tells you .5 farad is enough doesnt mean it wont work with 1, 1.5, 2 farad caps etc... if you can afford it, get a 1 farad cap
