try to drive VERY slow just moving see if the judddering is still there. ABS kicks in above 15 Mph under this speed is doesnt work. So at this point you know if it is the ABS or your brakes themself (e.g. bend disks due to overheating)
Good Luck,
cheers
Mk1 only has one sensor (at least I never seen a mk1 with two) I have one of the latest mk1´s and of course I have the Rsport sportscat also used on Cliocup racers. Stock there are two single cats and the sensor is located before the cats. The cat I have now is a single stainless one looks just...
FYI oliver its a sealed 2l underblock with a modded head and bigger TB. the 4in1 and the inlet manifold are the same which r going to be mounted on the new 182 (8200 number) (it was in a testphase for racing application by RS in 2001).
Cheers
@not=for=long well than youse over there in the UK are very lucky, I am currently talking to Maurice Huger (software engineer @ dieppe for RS) and he did not write that software. In other words there is another Renault Sport software developer who writes this software. Maurice will inform me but...
@telfort mike. mmm tricky business for VAL when his pads are smokin he has to be learned to adjust his brake balance (yes you can do it manualy with the race clio) Simple get one to read the temperature of the disks after a couple of laps and make sure you are around 500 both in front and...
The pagid street version are almost the same as stock used on the clio RS, but the raceversions are the ones to go for the number is : RS4.2 for the blue ones we use. You also can go for RS4.4 red or RS14C which are the black ones. But I would go for the blue ones.
p.s. they are NOT cheap...
mmm news for me, we r doing a lot of business with Renaultsport in Dieppe. But there is NO such thing as an ecu developed by Rsport for Group N. Renaultsport itself is not into Group N, 1600cc yes but not 2.0 RS. The 2.0 RS of course can be used for group N but modifications is not done by...
@mike172sport Get rid of the Slick50 stuff its a engine killer just like ALL additives. We did some testing and in the end they are all bad. better running engines is something whats in your head. The use of good dull synthetic oil is a must for nice running engines. Just put in some 5W50 every...
@ragnotti
Rhys says it all ! I don´t need to say anything more....
Other things well upgraded suspension. Big Ap or Brembo disks at the front side. Head conversion (bigger and steeper valves) The maximum with the stock TB will be around 230 Bhp. If you want more you have to change the...
We r driving cliocup since 1992. It´s just a cup for Renault Clio. After 1997 they changed over to Meganes and from 2001 they came back to the clio´s again. Cup is just the name of racing with Renaults. The cup 172 is something for the UK market to sell more clio 2.0 rs.
In 2005 the stock...
the cliocup 2004 will have some changes (at least here in holland) :
- The looks will be diffrerent the will change the back and the front of the car.
- The power will be around 195 Bhp this is an extra 10 bhp, they changed the inlet manifold (I already placed the 8200 number for and the...
yes you r right jay if I hear the sound I either stop pushing throttle or push it into 2nd. I now run the stock mk1 rimms cause it´s almost winter here in Holland. But normally I run my oz´s 16" with 195/45 Bridgestone Potenza Poleposition 2. I swear with these tyres they realy do not spin...
mailto:m@thew">m@thew I couldnt send you a message so heres my answer on your question :
Chip and Cam will bring you to around 190 Bhp but the torque from 4500 is enormous I guess you will be probably have 240 nm. But I would never go for the cam (idles bad and not so nice of a drive in thick...
LASER and Renauls Sport Netherlands have developed a special race exhaust for the <A onmouseover="" href= "http://www.renaultmotorsport.co.uk/cliocup/index.htmClio Cup Cars. Motivated by the possibilities of the car but frustrated by environmental sound restrictions supplied by several European...
Jip ive seen the picture its almost the same as mine, the brand is orbisound and they made it in normal steel and stainless. Well Cliocup Holland was so lucky to et it in Stainless and from 2002 they where illigal cause of sound emission at the two dutch tracks (zandvoort en assen) They swapped...
The numba is for the MK1, even as we run MK2 in racing we do NOT use FBW, and use the TB of the MK1.
Dunno if its the same as Hillpower. Max revs in Cupracing is 7450 Rpm. in ALL gears
