If you change manifold, airfilter (K&N insert with moded coldair intake), Exhaust and ECU you will get around 188 Bhp...
Yes known guess the tensionerwheel that drives the waterpump. I had it also 30 secs and gone, it will get worse trust me. I got it replaced under warranty. Waterpump, belt and tensioner.

Clunk when on & off the throttle. (got my steering rack replaced under warranty now all ok. Also when in 5th and putting back in 4th when you let the clutch go it makes the same noice. Latter is still there, but not irritating

you are wrong, if you check the figures of the powercurve you see that after the max. power there is a drop is power and afterwards the power is climbing up again !! so in general the more rpms the more power. Of course this will stop when the valves will floath at some point...

Heavy preparations of head, cams, valves and inlet will get you around 200 Bhp. next step will be TBs (also see nice mods on this site) power approx. +20 but...
one of the front wheels come in contact with the plastic. Check the front side to see if the wheel is making contact with it. It comes loose sometimes and is making this noise. Is even more of an issue if you lowered the car and put 17" rimms on it.

When mine was original Id dynod the acr. I did 148 Kmh in 3rd and 187 in 4th both till rev. limitter
Now its a bit faster
