No Daz, its not just you, mine arent good at all in the wet, especially if you hit standing water  Stick with the Michelins i say. Michelins are dear but they work well, They can cost almost double the Proxes, but they are what im getting next time (Exaltos).
ive bought quite a lot of stuff from there, got quick delivery too.
Try http://www.renault-components.comwww.renault-components.com part of need for speed but may be cheaper.
Get a GTT conversion, a recently rebuilt, mildly tuned one should have at least the same power as a 16v and the reliability, plus you keep the Clio shell :)
i tinted my lexus clusters, makes em a little bit purple looking, but a better effect than untinted on a darker car i think, unless you have a lot of body mods
they dont look evenly tinted on the pic, but they are in real life.
Brun, given your skills and i dont mean this in a bad way, dont even attempt it. Youll more than likely be needing to drill into the door, which i dont think would be a wise move for yourself. Plus standard cable should be ok unless your splashing out on an expensive set of components or somthing.
Id like a go in it myself, compare it to my 5 But is it just me or does anyone else hate being driven fast as a passenger in an unfamiliar car? I hate it, bit of a control freak i suppose.
yup not impressed with the Toyos, but i dont expect many people have tried Exaltos due to the price, Im getting Exaltos as soon as the GTT is in, i need to be able to put the power on the road!
bike mirrors probably, and how could you get the maxi/F2 bumper? If you get the bumper you ll need the arches, if you get the arches youll need spacers or wide wheels, if you get those youll probably f**k the driveshafts very quickly plus the front will be way wider than the back, as they have...
Arent the ktec 4 pot kits hi-spec items? Just buy em direct from hi spec, i think they do the 285mm with OE caliper brackets too. I have the 285mm kit which is good, especially as i got it 2nd hand for £100, but am looking to upgrade to 285/300mm 4 pots.
What front mount are you getting? I cant wait till a few more Clio GTT owners have a bit more power and a bit of milage behind them and shut people up about reliability and power.
going from th 16v to a GTT is a step back in technology terms (choke - WTF?), but apart from that, its great. If you want pig power its the ONLY way to get it for reasonable money. Mine pisses all over my 16v and its just funny quick, like whoever you race has their handbrake on when the turbo...
