Thats what Im thinking, and the 950 has the digital tilt sensor so would trigger in that eventuallity. Im getting a pager as well, so I should know if anything is going on with the car, soon enough to be able to get to it before anyone has a chance to bypass it. (hopefully)
Does anyone think the woreless imobiliser would be worth adding to the 950? Or would it be better to get a the G4 concept 600 and add the G5 features to it?
I definately remember seing on a website somewhere that it carries no points, ithink because its through the department of Transport or something. Anyway it said the maximum fine is £1000 but if the vehicle is in good condition it is typically quite a small fine.
I got mine from America, even with the postage and VAT it was a massive saving. The installation didnt look too complicated from the instructions but what do I know. (feck all)
Has anyone insured a highly modded/GTT converted 16v with them, as the last time i tried them they wouldnt quote me, i was under 21 then though.
Matt I dont think Brun paid any extra, as the displacemnt of the engine is almost exactly the same.
If you have a highly modded engine though, its good to be able to switch between normal boost and other settings for racing etc. Ive got a Blitz SBC-ID electronic boost controller on mine. Theres a lot of features and its very accurate, can be used as a boost guage too. And as its universal so...
For the dials the Clio 2 box may fit the GTT, which would allow you to keep the dials. Im using a clio 1 box in mine as Im having some custom clio dials from the group buy. You dont have to lose the power steering, you can use an electric pump instead, I think you can get that from a peugeot...

Sorry if im getting the wrong end of the stick but, am I right in thinking LSD is primarily for better cornering ability, on a FWD at least. Surely for the same money you might be better getting a traction control system, if power delivery is what youre after?
The main reason i bought 16s was to compromise between looks and performance. 15s just dont fill the arches enough IMO (on a 16v anyway) And I didnt want any hassle with possibole rubbing on 17s. (plus my exhaust was taking a beating cos my car was too low on 15s :oops:)

Well RTOC must be at least 85% 5 GTTs, and i guess there must be less than 30 Clio turbos kicking around on there in one form or another. Maybe when a few Clio turbo owners (GTT engined or otherwise) start putting some decent 1/4 mile times in they might be more respectful :devilish:
