Tuning isnt financially sensible in any sense of the word, but who does anything for fun that is financiall sensible?
Isolating cars is just rubbish......i bet all of you who deem tuning wasteful go out and spend stupid money on golf clubs and memberships, mountain bikes that your not good...

i dont understand the mentality of people expecting VFM tuning. You pay for a skilled service, with high labour and parts costs.......its gonna cost.

Its not that the engines are s**t for tuning, you get more out of these engines than you do from comparable mods out of say a c20XE (vauxhall red top), or duratec, or zetec.
I think the main problem is that with the advancement in OE output leves...

Many things can contribute, but the sole problem is oil supply. You will have to open it up to find out the cause of the oil starvation/heat.
To repair is a large bill, it will be cheaper to replace the engine.
on their own, changes are zilch.
The use of forged components is to sustain high rpm forces primarily which allows you to run more bhp. Along with mild increases in compression ratio.
230.........NA 1.6 honda B series attain that sort of output and circa 600bhp when running boost.
JUst the whole, piggy back, extra injectors before the TB (great idea for fuel delivery), no mention of ignition control which is more important than fuel with boost.

one of the benefits of working in the industry.........you can spot crap a mile off.
I wouldnt reccomend a rubbish company and talk to paul most nights.............and try catch him out on stuff but it doesnt work unless i'm asking about chinese provinces.
