i guess, but in HK replacing TDC sensors was as frequent as a regular service. for some odd reason, they just always broke, and then there were the auto boxes (almost all cars in HK are auto)....man. And espace auto boxes!!!! early ones! argh!

you can try mate, but commercial N20 is called nitrous plus, it has suplur dioxide in it to prevent substance abuse, i learnt the hard way with a killer headspin for me and my mate. We locked ourselves into a cupboard and wasted about 40 quids worth.....and no we didnt get giggly.
Come on king, tyre technology has moved on alot and the characteristic adjustability of a std willy isnt down to magic michelins.
You can improve the willy handling, its good i admit, but you can always improve and although they did err on the side of adjustability and excitement, they did...
4 pot reffers to the number of cylinders inside the caliper acting upon the pad or pads.
std is single piston ,sliding caliper.
4 pots have 2 pistons on either side of teh disc.
to change to a willy, the minimum you need are 19 16V wishbones, drive shafts and willy shocks/springs. You dont need hubs, ball joints and rod ends and all that fallafel.
The 172 has very strict EURO3 emissions compliance, and when it comes to cold start it has to make those emissions regs from the first turn of the engine, unlike EURO2 where there was a 5 min warmup period allowed. This is why MK2s have a 2nd lambda.
So it will run rouch, especially when cold...

My car was the company demo car.....it spent its entire life being thrashed, mostly by me and the demos i gave. Warmups were erm......about 2 mins, and i didnt treat it nice really. Suffice to say it never got that cold in HK and ambient temps are about 30-37 deg.
