Do you mean warmed up or is it just warm according to the water temp gauge. Sorry to sound picky, but mine flies round to 7k plus without hitting a limit when it's warm. I thought about 12 miles or so was the usual distance over which to warm the engine.

I can't understand it, low fuel consumption has to be to do with different driving styles. I get about 35 mpg and drive like a loony, but only on and off so maybe that's why. Even driving at 120+ on a track (sic) for long periods it never drops below 35. I try to always use optimax. Tyres last...
Welcome to cliosport. Like most things people will disagree with each other, but I reckon go for one with less than 36k miles. I think it's safer to get some other things replaced at 36,000 miles such as the timing belt. Try and get about £500 off to cover a big service. Have some really good...
I got mine from him too, great exhaust. I didn't get my catalyst changed though, maybe in future. Will the pro speed catalyst be ok in the MOT test, could be better as it's new?

I have gone over my car touching-up a few stone chips with a paint pen from Renault. I now need to blend it in, removing little areas of paint where too much has gone on. Is clay the best thing to use for this or polish?

The Williams had gold lettering on it, the Renaultsport 172s/182s only have silver. I think that settles which one's better! Gold rules, although I own a 172!
I'm joking BTW. Move on to the next topic, FFS.
Welcome buddy. Is Dubai anything like Egypt, where the cars have no lights on after dark? If so it makes the car racing you described even more mad!

Nice vid. Mental day out by the look of it! A bit different to our west country meets, we get tractors and mud, but you get lots of traffic, and by the look of that last video, a security man in a white van.

I've taken mine off and the plastic surround thing off the engine. No point to them. No problems either - infact the paint on the underside of the bonnet stays pretty clean.

I did the same thing last year when tightening up new 13 mm bolts after changing the pads. I was about to start throwing things around and have a big strop when my son suggested I do what Frad has said. Cut the rest of the bolt head away and slide the caliper off, you should then be able to get...
And people often take them off anyway, its just held on by four bolts. To get at the brake fluid reservoir it's easier if you remove it. Weighs about 20g!

Buy 'em from Fred. Mine arrived today! I've polished my hammer specially and they're going in tomorrow come what may. Great service from the lads from Solihull.

Not to be confused with the 1.8 RSi. This was a mark I clio and I owned one and it was good, a phase 3 version. It was the bottom of the range cliosport, ranking below the 16 valver and (the wonderful) Williams 1, and slightly less wonderful Williams 2 and 3. I'd go for it if I were you...
I must try and make it to more events this year such as the FCS. Might even buy a tent in case of stop overs (shudders at the thought: cold, damp and no nice hot shower in the morning). Looking forward to a good year!

I've been trying to type this response but my ageing fingers and poor eye sight makes me very slow these days. I have a 172 X reg and it does have that little green light. I noticed it come on the other day when I was driving back after collecting my pension. Off for some warm cocoa now.
BTW I...
