Not true. I asked the experts on the RS forum years ago if they actually did anything. I can't remember the numbers they threw back at me, but they were wind tunnel tested and whilst they don't generate downforce they do reduce the amount of lift according to them.
If you want to know the...
I think there are two commonly used places you could duct some cooler air from, the wheel arch and the lower grille.
I can't see a problem with using any old piping to duct the air unless it's going to be touching something hot - and that would sort of defeat the object. Though I've heard that...
I've got a feeling they're going to hurt after a couple of hours, but no pain - no gain!
PMSL at the pic with someone (you?) sitting in one on the floor with the harness on!
Right, on mine all holes bar two were already available to use after removing the interior trim.
The holes in the pic below were where the (I think) pre-tensioners were mounted and were the right thread for the eyelets.
These two handy threaded holes were also ready for use...
No pics of the mountings as I'm at work, but it's essesntially the same as above, but not crossed over. A roll cage is on the way with a harness bar to improve the angle from the seat. If it hasn't been done by this evening by someone else I'll sort some closer shots and go into more detail.
If you've only just bought it, I'd recommend driving it for a couple of months to see if anything goes wrong! Not saying it will, but I'd want to sure it's healthy whilst I had some cash in the bank.
Really? I can only speak from my experience (of watching someone else do it), but mine went on first time nearly perfectly alligned and very easily. Mark Fish did it and said it was the easiest and quickest exhaust he'd ever fitted.
The bolt isn't the problem. It's the bracket it goes through. The bracket in the pic above has been bent down around 60 degrees when the wheel caught it. Either cut/grind/bend the bracket out of the way. Tip - move it further out of the way than you think you'll need, especially if you carry a...
I don't know enough about the RStuner to comment or the pagid blue's as I haven't used them. However the Brembo HC disks and Goodridge braided hoses are well worth it if they're in good condition. Lines especially - much better feel through the pedal.
Might me able to make do with an exhaust hanger from the likes of Powerflex. They do a few different designs and some universal ones.

Photoshops never give a true impression of how a wheel will really look on the car, well not unless the wheel is exactly the same specification as you'd be putting on. Took the pic away as I thought about it, and didn't want to tarnish your thread! Should be well worth waiting for
