go with Mobil 1 0W-40 or a good fully synthetic 0W-40/5W-40
you would struggle to find a fully synthetic 10W-40 as im not sure anyone at all makes one for the UK market........Valvoline might do....
has anyone supercharged a 172 yet ?
a customer who comes into our shop is apparently getting it done, has had everythin dummy fitted under the bonnet to see if it would all fit and apparently it should do...
for whatever reason a lot of people on here have used Magnatec and then there engine has become noisy, my own car included

id go with Silkolene myself......
the more the internet based shops start to open local shops the better
i work for Motor World and i know for a fact we are not the cheapest on a lot of ICE, we cant compete with the online places......however....if they were to open a shop next door or locally i am allowed to price match as...
this might sound like a strange one but after ive washed my car, or its been outside in the rain for a bit...........whenever i then drive it and come to brake, my brakes are VERY good......shouldnt they be a bit crap until they dry ?.....

my personal preference would be for Silkolene Pro S however this isnt available in many places
you could use Mobil 1 which is a good oil, or Total Quartz 9000 5W-40 from a Total petrol station, or Shell 5W-40 from pretty much every Shell petrol station...

base your opinion on how much the car costs........yes a brand new car should be perfect no matter what you pay, i dont want to get into that argument

garage i go to has agreed to do it for me on a Saturday, which is excellent....
£100 labour though + clutch cost.......which will be about £40+

first someone hits my car in the car park at work, not a clue who it was so im gonna pay out for that
secondly when i go to report it i get a producer........
and now my clutch has gone, meanin im gonna have to spend over £100 on an engine thats coming out in a week or two !
