It's the dash profile I refer to, if you changed the door cards the dash edge wouldn't match up where it meets the door.

Dash is totally different shape wise so that would need changing to match the door cards! I think basically you'd need the complete loom which IMO is not worthwhile doing.

Not much really, I did it in about an hour for around £50 all in. Gives them more of an OE look.

It's on the side of the gear box from memory. To check it, put your front wipers on and then select reverse. If your rear wiper doesn't activate, it's the switch! :)

I had 182 xenons on my 1.2 mate for over 2 years and never had any hassle. IMO you're more likely to get way with it if you opt for the proper kit rather than an after market kit!

No, totally different lamp fitment. No, all aftermarket HID lights, even the conversion kits, are illegal without auto-levellers and washers. It depends how 'legal' you wish to be.

I quite like them, just as others have said I'm not sure on the positioning and they need to be brighter! :)

Depends...you've to weigh up the advantages and disadvantages. Even if you have protected no claims and you make a claim, you have still to declare that claim which will ultimately put your renewal price up.
