Guys, does the 172 have heated mirrors? If so, are they activated by putting the heated rear window on? None of the dew on the mirrors evaporated even long after the rear window had cleared. I wonder, what with the being a Reno, if maybe....mine are not working...;) g

chaps, when I started the car this morning, the ext temp gauge said it was 3degress. Oddly, the degree symbol started flashing (not the 3, just the symbol). Ive never noticed this before. Then when I got to work, it was at 4degrees, but the flashing had stopped. Is this normal? Does it act...

yesterday, I filled up the washer bottle and stupidly spilt a bit of water over the grid thing that surrounds the bottle filler neck. Anyway, about two hours later, I went to unlock Puppy and it unlocked, then locked itself again almost immediately (within seconds). Its done this four times now...
