At motorway speeds youll need a massive power difference to significantly leave another car over a short distance...
I doubt the V6 would leave the 172 for dead, I got it to 145mph in France (shhhh) and it felt like it didnt have any more to give, there were 4 of us in it though.
I rate the...
I drove a V6 4motion to the south of France and back and I can assure you they are rapid...
Most certainly faster than a williams, half a second quicker to 60.
The main difference I noticed is that the V6 has got masses and masses of grunt, just goes in any gear at any time... exactly what...
The bonnet scoop on a valver/williams is to control the heat in the engine bay...not as an induction scoop.
Its positioned so it directs air straight onto the exhaust manifold because this obviously gets hot to trot.
Also it lets the heat rise up and out when stationary... same as the bonnet...
Can I see alloy pedals on both models?...v nice.
Are the steering wheels leather atall?... both nice as i say... I prefer the front of the mk2s though I reckon.
As for this performance difference stuff... my arse.
The difference would not be noticeable... end of.
If I caught somone keying mine id bite their b*stard fingers off...
That sinking feeling when you see it for the first time...jesus.. I feel for you mate.
Get some CCTV and catch them next time.. Ill come round hungry if you do.
I got a 5k loan from alliance and liecester... repaying over 3 years at 106 quid a month...7.9% APR
At the end of the 3 years Ill still owe them 2k so i can then either stump up the 2k and keep the car... continue making the repayments and keep the car... or sell the car to pay off the 2k...
If it pulls to one side under braking it is 100% a problem with your brakes... most likely the front ones as they do most of the work.
I had the same thing with my old car.. the rubber seal around the piston on the brake caliper was knackered so over time water got into the piston and it...
Anyone know what gets altered when you get a performance ECU?
Im guessing the fueling gets reworked... but Ive heard the rev limiter gets pushed up a bit...
Now I may be soft but arent rev limiters there for a bloody good reason ie: to stop the pistons trying to escape through the bonnet...
Paul heres a couple of passages to go straight into your introduction... once youve put them in your own words obviously....
"It is a widely accepted fact that increasing the air mass delivery to an internal combustion engine allows it to combust the fuel more completely and, thus, produce...
I get this on my williams aswell... sounds crap on a cold start up.
I find it makes a crap exhaust note aswell until the cat has warmed up..
Its normal dont worry.
Has anyone had their rear windscreen washer pack up on a mk1 clio?
My williams has suffered from day one... Ive worked out its not the pump or the nozzles... so it must be kinked somewhere.
Anyone know a good place to start looking?
I suppose getting a mk1 v6 now would be a bit of a gamble... not knowing whether their price will stabilise.
Hopefully they will become a bit of a classic soon enough and then hold firm.
That will probably go out the window though if the mk2 is vastly better.. then youll get the "whatever...
Right this goes out to the hill power mob... how much does nick hill charge for chipping?
Plus whats it like for fuel consumption after... and perhaps the biggest question who has had the guts to tell their insurance theyve had it done and what was the damage on you policy?
I am tempted to...
