Nope 2002 172 FF - just noticed from other posts that its recommended to get the ones with the bearings as well - theres a set on ebay for £120, gonna try partco tomorrow and see how theirs comes up then fit them myself :)

Question - I need some and am looking for prices, however do I need to replace the ABS ring or are they normally ok? I presume simple unbolt old, refit new and same with pads? Si

When racing bikes, we always used brake fluid to take the shine of new tyres - worked a treat but I'm not suggesting you use it though :) I'd just take it easy for the first session and scrub them in slowly, you should be able to feel them sliding less as you get more confident

Aye mines just started to do it as well, I strongly suspect the battery as only happens during colder snaps after short journeys the day before and is symptomatic to a battery that is not holding it's charge, start the car and the amps get cranked which resets the onboard computer for the trip...
