Yeah he's going to knock the money off the car. Also just found out through the dvla website that the car is only moted until the start of march next year even though he said it had a full years mot... not impressed.. I'll be asking for a whole year or money off...

I was under the impression that dealers can still tax it? If he can't he will be taking the cost of tax off the car...

Thanks alot mate I appreciate the info.. The trophy I've been looking at has original sachs suspension at the front but ktecs fitted at the rear... Although I dont think the rear dampers are as expensive to replace with the o.e spec ones..

And I'd love a dc5 but its almost twice the price of the dc2's and trophys that ive been looking at. :-(

Thats alot cheaper than I thought it would be for a refurb... Where did you get that done?

Im tempted by the dc2.. Just for the same money its done 140,000 miles instead of 70,000 on the trophy and its six years older....

I guess its personal preference which look you prefer... I just dont think the jdm has aged as well at the uk one.

Hey guys havent posted for a while and was looking for a bit of advice on my next car... Not looking to spend too much and would probably be looking to use this as my only car as I have two at the moment.. I had a 172 cup a few years ago which I owned from new but had a few reliability issues...

They remind me a bit of the style of wheels fitted to the new supercharged elise. Minus the colour of course

Re: PH1 172 Track Car, abit special With the paintwork looking as good as it does and it being used on a track i'd think about getting paint protection film over it. I would also get the dash flocked. Looks nice though.

The ren dealer once told me that to reset the cd player you put the disk in upside down. You could try it and see??
