Not necessarily. More often than not they'll charge to get the line reconected even if all the hardware is installed in the property. Did someone from BT have to come out to get it hooked up? It sounds like this is what has happened tbh

IIRC the charge for BT to reconnect a line is around £125 so it could be that this is what you've been charged for.

So have they actually cancelled the line? Or activated it?

Can't remember the model number of what he had before but it was a 43" rear projection jobbie. Bloody massive thing with the stand and speakers. Think it was a Panasonic or Samsung.

Its hard to say at the moment because I'm getting it setup for a new company. In all honesty I can't see it having a large amount of throughput over the next six to twelve months at least. So what you're saying is I can get an 0845 number free and receive a small kick back on every call...
