bearing

my rear wheel bearing has went but i noticed a reciept from a garage that supplied and fitted the rear disks with wheel bearings. these were done about 10k ago. am i right saying they will replace due to warranty? Thanks in advance

Wheel bearings keep collapsing after a few testing sessions. Any suggestions on an upgrade?? Can you transfer Megane hubs and bearings or a specially made bearing which is better suited to performance?? Cheers

hi, I've just bought a ff 182 wih both cup packs that I'm pretty sure needs a new wheel bearing on the passenger side, as theres a whirring noise at around 50mph+. what's the easiest way of fixing the problem? buying a bearing kit for euro car parts or buying a new complete new hub from ebay...

Been reading up on them....but can't really find anything related to cars, just bikes. I'm guessing expensive...but how expensive, and whi does them?

Symptoms are a hum from the rear of the car, starts around 25mph and gets louder and higher pitched with speed. Loudest after accelerating to 70 odd then backing off. It's not bearings as both rear discs just replaced. Checked tyre pressures, and no apparent movement/sounds on front bearings...

This is a how I did it without any spring compressors or clamps . As an experienced mechanic I'll tell you now - it's not recommended to do it this way unless your absolutely confident within your mechanical capabilities . I won't bore you with the jack the car up and place it on axle stands...
