Hi guys,
In the process of tidying my engine bay up even more and noticed my car had no fuel rail guard? (No idea whether this is something that all cup models are missing?)
I have bought one that needs a polish up to match the inlets but im missing the bolts needed to fit it properly, does...

Hi Gents/Ladies,
I'm new to the forum and as yet don't own a Clio. I'm looking at getting one in the next few months. I currently do a 25 mile round trip to work that consits of roads going from 30mph to motorways. I currently have a Citroen C2 Code, which is a 1.6 125bhp and is pretty good on...
Hi,
My fuel pump is dead and my car is grounded for the last 2 months.
The cost of genuine new fuel pump in my country is ridiculously high (500 pounds).
Does anyone have recommanded fuel pumps?
Walbro 255 is it any good for the clio?
I orderd genuine used pump and it won't fit-My fuel pump...
Hi,
Am i right in thinking that the 172 ph2 fuel pump/ filter (in tank) is one unit as opposed to the ph1 with the external filter?
If so, or not the case, what is the reliability of the pumps in general? The car has 67k '02.
Again price wise to replace, is it worth a direct replacement...
Hi all my car died at the traffic lights tonight and ive been told that its the fuel pump. Is there any way I can fix this or do I need a new one. If so is there anyone in the Edinburgh area that has one . cheers in advance
Afternoon,
Scratching my head on this one so looking for some advice. when I bought my car the guard was loose and one nut was missing. Tightened up the remaining one. Just checked the car 2000miles later and the one I tightened has now snapped off and I've managed to bodge a random nut onto...
HI guys, i own a tce100 3 ph1
I supported my engine with an power box which
Is made by elia tuning. They call it elia secotronic. The engine handles a lot better
And with better boost and more power. I talked to the tech master there
And he told me that box is doing 200mbar more on boost.
I read...
Is it an easy job to change the fuel sensor?
Think mine is shot as the trip computer doesn't tell me how far till empty and I was driving this morning when the petrol gauge went into red and did not have a light come on to refuel.
Thanks

Would anybody fancy this ? I'm pretty sure me and the wife will be going but wondered if there's enough interest to get a club stand going? I think we'd just be going for the Sunday if I'm honest, so does anybody fancy it?
Some of you may know I bought a van which had petrol run through it.
Ran it for 1 minute on the day I sorted it. Was a little tough to start but I figured that would be the air in the lines. Yesterday I went to start it and it was really difficult. Took 5 attempts before it went into life...
Currently trying to get a 04 1.5dci clio to run/start, turns over but wont fire. Will run only with easy start been sprayed into the filter. As soon as you stop the engine dies. I've noticed alot of air bubbles in the fuel line. Mainly in coming off the line with the red connecter on the filter...
Alright lads some of you might have seen my previous thread about the at breaking down and getting the stop light flashing but every time I turn the ignition on to prime the pump the 30amp green fuse blows, what could case that
I am Picking up whiffs of petrol from the drivers rear wheel arch.
I have checked for leaks but can't see any?
Anything I should check? Pipes perish etc?
Or do they have a tendency to vent a little?
Cheers
hey
So... Yea on to the subject of Fuel consumption.
My 172 Was drinking petrol to the sum of 1 Tank to 100 Miles before it had new belts and dephaser fitted... Which was MENTAL!
Since its been repaired and serviced it so far has done: 233 Miles and has Just over 1 Bar of fuel left.
Lets...
If your petrol cap is like mine and will not open the odds are your solenoid is not operating correctly. It took me many hours of research and throwing my arm up in places to finally find how to release it, however this should only be a temporary fix and a new solenoid will probably be required...
Bought a 182. Love it! However spunked £20 on it and next day I'm on one bar.
Its got a full miltek stainless and a decat. Standard airbox.
not driving like a tit too scared at the moment.
Did all 1*2's come fitted with a cover over the fuel rail? If they did then mine has been removed and not replaced at some point.
My next question is what potential damage could be caused by not having one fitted? I will try and source one if it's vulnerable to debris coming through the grille etc.
Hey guys,
fuel rail guard bolt has snapped and ones loose, so the guards rattling like mad. Anybody have a set spare for sale? Or best place to get them? Or will Renault post them? Saw a thread a while ago said you have to collect.
Thanks :)

Hi all, I don't usually delve into engine management so this may be a stupid question, feel free to correct me in any way you see fit. Hopefully some of the more clued up members may be of assistance.
Basically I'm going for a remote fastchip remap on my meg 265 but the generic map is for...
Is it possible to remove just the flap itself, rather than getting behind the arch liner to remove the nuts that will most likely snap anyway?
Gently prize it out from where i've marked it on the pic?
