If your petrol cap is like mine and will not open the odds are your solenoid is not operating correctly. It took me many hours of research and throwing my arm up in places to finally find how to release it, however this should only be a temporary fix and a new solenoid will probably be required...

Bought a 182. Love it! However spunked £20 on it and next day I'm on one bar. Its got a full miltek stainless and a decat. Standard airbox. not driving like a tit too scared at the moment.

Did all 1*2's come fitted with a cover over the fuel rail? If they did then mine has been removed and not replaced at some point. My next question is what potential damage could be caused by not having one fitted? I will try and source one if it's vulnerable to debris coming through the grille etc.

Is it possible to remove just the flap itself, rather than getting behind the arch liner to remove the nuts that will most likely snap anyway? Gently prize it out from where i've marked it on the pic?
