the best thing to use would be some silicone, like i used bathroom sealant, stops the water getting in

i had originally used tape like alex, but it got wet and they fell off haha

but the car is looking great alex, nice job with the interior, how hard was it to fit?

I was gonna use that but didn't want to commit forever haha. Tape seems to be holding for now.

Thanks mate. Interior was a breeze. Rear seats were the trickiest but not difficult. Take the bottom of the bench out by just pulling it up. Remove the isofix cover in the boot, remove the bar. Fold the seat forward, remove the torx bolt underneath. Then just pry the sides of the seats out from their locators.

Fronts were piss. 4 bolts per seat, 2 under rubber covers each side, 2 in cutouts in exhaust heatshield. Jacking the car up makes life easier. Undo bolts, disconnect seat plugs underneath, lift and remove, then fit the new ones!

Reaaaallllyy trying to stop myself from getting my new rims already. Someone talk me out of it.

Decided on the EX8's. £305 for a set minus tyres is quite good I think! :P

Always wanted a set of them, just don't go for orange!!
 
Not much to report. A rubbing type noise has started at the back nearside and is driving me to the point of suicide. Literally can't work out what's causing it. Sounds like the tyre's catching the arch, but I ruled that out with a 5mm spacer. No visible marks anyway. Might be the wheel bearing but still unsure. Need to get the tracking done so will get someone to look at it then.

In the meantime, gave it a snowfoam, clean, polish. :)
