Steve fitting a Manual Rack is awful!!! more the ock to lock is massive comapired to a sport rack!!! ended up bidding outs on the mk!! and fitted rack with greased and blanking it all off ( a little pikey tho)

Iv noticed the tracks about 40mm shorter lol
I now have massive toe out lol.
Need to swap over bits from old rack.

It only mounts on 2bolts too!!!?
Is that because the power rack has more power to shear bolts?

good project mate, refferance the rack. Why dont you just run the std 172power racl and use an electric pas pump of another car... like an astra... not like your short on room in the front lol

Already changed it over now so it's staying.
Don't need pas anyway it's very light.

and some 76mm ducting hose for the rear windows scoops.

next up is plugging in
alot of wiring dash/ecu
finish off exhaust
new boost hoses/pipes
fuel pipe/pump.
gear linkage tweak.
clutch cable poss change to hydr clutch from v6.

i hope its not too long now

Bolts straight in.

Not sure about how slave cyl will work yet tho.

good to see this is still going mate. Lack of power steering might not be so bad with the lump relocated. In FWD mode it's horrendous with no power steering.

You need the shorter struts to go with it, but other than that no.
