16x6.5 black steelies, polished lip running 165x40x16

decided how the steelies shall be refurbed today. got the lip on the first one sanded right down, just need to get a few of the black marks out and bring to a shine. going to paint the centres a matt black i think. wanted 165/50s but couldnt get them so these will do till i get them banded to 8.5 then i can run 195/50 tyres should make the sill height be right low tho once its slammed

nah they are lighter than alloys, somethin like 7 kilo each

so with cutting the lip off and adding more steel you gonna have some deep dish steelies then

yeh man essentially means i can run larger profile tyres to fill the arches abit more, 16s with tiny tyres and slammed on a meggy is gonna end up scrapping tarmac

i picked up some 15inch ones from a scenic yesterday cant wait to get em done now

ur runnning 14s arent u couzens. get the lips polished, i just done another two in under 2 hours get them sprayed tomorrow and on by monday

any of the new shape megs come with 16 steels. donno how much they are from renault but they are VERY rare second hand, i got them for 50 quid without tyres
