172 Cup - Spacers to stop rubbing?

  172 Cup
Hi,

My 172 Cup is standard in terms of suspension/wheels/tires, however i noticed some pretty bad rubbing of the inside of the rear tyres (see photo below):

Would spacers such as these solve the issue? Would it be better to add spacers on all four wheels, or just the rear two?

Thanks!!

Adrian

That's what i thought.. I had a mechanic lift it up (which is when we saw the rubbing) and everything seemed to be in order with the wheels/suspension, so it does seem strange.

Something's not right, mine doesn't do that and it's on some springs.

Are they definitely OE wheels? Has it ever been in the scenery?

Yes they are on the original Turini's - the tyre is also marked on the inside.

I'll take it into Renault on Thursday to see what they think..

Thanks :)

Hello,
I am suffering from a rubbing noise which is worse when cornering left. I have exaclty the same marks in the same location on my clio so I assume that we have the same problem.

Would you kindly let me know what your diagnosis is so that I can check also.

Thanks

Dave
