Johnc172 ClioTurbo.co.ukCrank seal and mapping. Meant to be at a Brands trackday on the 2nd July, cant see that happening now
I was told at the beginning of June that I'd have it back way before then, called today and no progress to report. I may have to look for alternative options if it continues I guess!
You're capable of swapping engines, you're capable of changing a crank seal, at least its the easier one of the two!
Mapping is still the pain I admit.
Well its been a very long 2 months for me waiting for my car.....and its still no closer to being done.
Starting to get a bit frustrated now...
I feel your pain mate
I've been waiting 3 months almost for my turbo
Good customer service eh!?
Hey @Johnc172 get it back?
Sorry to hear of all your delays. Hope it gets sorted soon.
This any use for you?

I hate paddle clutches
Probably a noob question but what's a paddle clutch and why?
Looks expensive.
My cup is on its original clutch. 120k and 11 years on.
Don't think EFI do mechanical work. Can you not just do it yourself?
Have a word with Mike Woodford 07985 266042
Thanks Neil but I'm running a gen90 ecu and ED don't map them.
Good shout, I'll give him a call, any idea if he opens Saturdays?
Best give him a call as I know his hours have changed recently.
Only other one would be Fred at btm, but it would need to go elsewhere for mapping. Fred's in Birmingnam.Cheers, left a voicemail so look forward to a reply.
Any other recommendations?
All I'm saying is the first place you went to was a poor choice by the sounds of things.
If it involves a bit of travelling then so be it. Personally, I'd go to one of the traders mentioned for the mechanicals and use Scoff for the mapping.
Nice build! Some performance!!!
