Sorry but you are wrong,i know for a fact its 3 years having bought a Megane Scenic as an import a few months ago.I spoke to Renault Uk who confirmed its 3 years, however it starts when it enters the country so its unlikely you will see the full 3 years.
Im sorry but your wrong it might be on yours now but mine is a 53plate 172 it was registered 11/12/2003and the warrenty ends 11/12/2005 so id say a 03 would be the sameQuote: Originally posted by Funkyjahooner on 02 August 2005

all european renault cars outside the uk get 2 years manufacturers warranty, in the uk we only get 1 years manufacturers warranty.
we then get a further 2 years dealer warranty.
If you have a car sourced from a country which is in the EU you can apply to renault for a full three year warranty with a proof of purchase to make it the same as a uk car.
This came into effect about 2 years ago so an 03 should be fine, if in doubt pm Lee as he has the letter to prove all this.
Both Funky and Edde are right
