Had a search around and hope this hasn't been posted before.

Running 262bhp and 421nm Torque. Not cheap though I imagine!

I wander if the new engine changes the balance of the car?

Cool conversion dropping a turbo lump into a car that handles really well but is the megan engine heavyer or lighter than the standard lump?

Might not handel as well as it used to?

They should have put that engine in it to begin with. The standard 197 engine is gutless below 5,000rpm and even after that they feel slow compared to a 1*2.
Boost FTW!

I think the turbo'd lump and various other bits added about 40kg to the kerb weight, so not a massive increase at all.

A clio 197 is 1240 kg +40kg =1280 kg
a r26 megane is 1345kg -spare wheel ,toolkit and rear seats =1300kg
so not much difference really unless you strip the rear of the clio also
i hope hes fitted the r26 box as the lsd is well worth it
