7 years of practice Roughly 120 events by my count. Plus two years out with M4/3 equipment helps, after re-learning to shoot motorsport with that it's a walk in the park going back to a DSLR/SLT now. Really bored with it though, going to try a completely different approach from now on.

The 'Hand' and 'Tordoff' shots are my favourite. All very good though, obvious skills and talent.

Didn't spot that one. I'm going to have a go at a stupidly low shutter speed &300mm tomorrow, I'm nipping down to Oulton Park trying the new lens for car stuff.

My one tip would be to avoid spraying away at maximum fps as many do when panning, focus on a single shot and be as smooth as possible.

Yeah I've done a few just head on ones on the pit wall with the odd panning shot. I think I'll try a slower pan after the lunch break. The lens is fantastic though.

WOW!! Some cracking shots there some serious panning skills. Its one part of my photography I'd like to improve i am getting a bit more varied with my aviation stuff and dropping my shutter speed, its quite challenging but so rewarding when you get some good ones.

I'm not sure if it's the same car but i think the top image might be a friend of mines drive for this year.
