Attaching harnesses to rear Strut brace?

Car  TrackCar & F30 330d
Picking up some Sparco Rev Buckets on sunday. I will eventually buy harnesses, but if i get 4 point harnesses can a attach the two that go over my shoulders to a rear strut brace?

I think the answer is gona be no but just thougth i'd ask.

Also what make of harnesses are recomended, Dont wana pay stupid prices, but would like a good make.

Sabelt or Willans i prefer mate.

No i wouldnt attach to rear strut brace. A lot of people bolt them to the floor or use 3 points and attach to the rear seatbelt mounts.

Yeah i thought so, I'l look into the harnesses that attach to the floor of the rear seats.
Cheers Laddos

Weld a bar between the turrets if you must and use that, deffo not onto the strut brace. that could really hurt if you crashed.

Re: Attaching harnesses to rear Strut brace?

Probably better to gaffer tape them to the floor. Seat belt mounting points are the best if you dont have a cage

which is the best colour gaffer tape to use, any brand preference. I would of thought silver duck tape branded stuff would work well :D

All right all right. It was just a question lol. They are getting attached to the floor :rasp: with bolts
