Sold my 2nd ph1 172 in Feb last year and have had several disappointments since!
Seat Ibiza 16v GTi, 106 GTi (wasn't disappointing, just a dog!), Nissan Primera GT (best of them all to be fair to it, that was quite fun, just underpowered), Mercedes C230 Kompressor Sport.
So I bought another Clio RS - got a phase 2 cup this time though, in silver with the trophy style elec recaros. Its in decent nick but the dephaser is really loud!
I'm guessing it's full belt service and extra £120 for the pulley? £250 for a non air con belt change?
Anyway, its good being back in an RS and revving the nuts off it and being able to chuck it into corners. Always come back to the 172s.
