Hey everyone. I've recently bought this car and am going to work on it as something to do during the days to learn a bit about cars and get some practical experience.

The car:
Black Clio mk2 1.4 16v
Reg 2003
88,000 Miles
Standard Everything



The plan:

• Eibach 60mm Lowering Springs or V-Maxx Coilovers
• 16" Team Dynamics Monza RS - Black (Blue Rim) Alloys
• Toyo PX4 Tyres
• De-badge the rear
• Carbon Vinyl Badges & Interior dash strips
• RS Grill
• Window tints all round
• Xenon style bulbs
• K&N Induction kit
• New exhaust
• New headunit
• Subwoofer
• Full speaker upgrade

That's all I can think for now. If you have any ideas please share them and if you know a good exhaust, speakers, headunit and sub then please let me know as I'm not sure what to buy.

Looking good dude, RS rear bumper makes a great difference to the rear. RS grille makes the front end look a 1000000000 times better aswell, Have a look at my thread if you want an idea of how it looks.

Yeh, the RS grille makes loads of difference. Thats pretty much the only thing ive done to mine so far and looks miles better. Looks good.

Yeh, i got one on my MK2. Took like 5 minutes to fit and looks shweeet.

FINALLY picked the car up after waiting for funds to clear, fitted a new stereo today and bought some mats. Gonna take a while to get used to this car as it feels a lot heavier to drive than my other one.

Next week, colour coding, alloys, carbon fiber vinyl diamonds and interior. More to follow but that should give me something to do for next week

nice man, all good but the tints, i had the tints done... only went for a 30% shade i think its just right doesnt look odd at all, people black them out i gues its up to you, people have a tendancy to slate the car owner if they have tints done - i think there alright depending on the shade, plus your plans sound just about right mate im liking it

Been doing some interior spraying and electrics.

Full LED upgrade and also blue led spots.

Boot LED Setup (Finished)
[2x Multicolour Festoon Bootlights - 2x Blue LED Sides - 2x Blue LED Underneath - 5x Blue LED in Parcelshelf]



Interior Light Setup
[2x LED 501 Ultra White - 4x Blue LED Spots]



Footwell/Drink Holder Lighting
[2x 12" Cathode Blue Neons - 2x Blue LED Spots]



I also have 2 blue LED's in the drink holders in the rear but they don't show up well on the camera.

The interior light LEDS are wired up to the interior light circuit so can be manually switched on and also come on when the door is opened
The footwell neons, parcel shelf LEDS, rear seat LEDS and drink holder LEDS are wired up to come on with the car lights but also have a manual over-ride switch next to the cigarette lighter
The boot light setup up is wired to the boot light trigger switch so only come on when the boot is opened


To come:
2x Underseat cathode neons
Grill lighting
Door lighting
Clock & Dash blue conversion

Not sure exactly what lights yet but for obvious reasons everything is linked up to the kill switch and isn't to be used whilst driving anyways.

I was tempted to go for under car lighting but I'm not gonna go to enough car shows to make it worth while.

Maybe in the future I'll go for a full on lighting system

you should see the roads round here. dont think they did any. i had 2 blow outs in the spring. friend had one in his gt tdi the other day and nearly cracked the sump. not fun at all lol. i constantly look drunk when driving as im avoiding all the potholes and bumps. lol

After over an hour messing about trying to get the grill off I finally have the RS one fitted + a sore eye from flying plastic.

Sprayed the bullets, badges and engine cover blue & colour coded the side strips (pics in the morning)

It's a great combination I think.

Bullets done in blue with white letters.

Lesson learnt, do not attempt to spray rear diamond whilst still on the car :/ Managed to get paint residue off the boot pull and gonna have to re-do it.

It's a right bugger to get off

Nice! If you ever sell you know where I am although I'll hopefully have some by the time you sell seeing as you just got em. Nice lil project maybe I'll see you at an EA meet sometime.
