Right so, a couple more updates.
I've been having a bit of a mare with this replacement gearbox, I picked one up from a chap in London on Wednesday just gone, got it home and then decided to check the numbers to find it's the wrong one, what a tit I am for not checking it up their. turns out it was a jc5 130 and for the cup I need a jc5 129! the thing is the bloke is breaking a cup so I just thought it will be coming out of the cup. oh well, I wont make that mistake again, lol.

after a few calls with the bloke, it turns out he's broke a 182 before and this box is from that and the cup box is still in the cup. he's said he'll have it removed Monday and brought down to me Tuesday/Wednesday so not too much lost.
Next I noticed a couple lights flashing on the dash when braking, indicating etc, so thought bad earth somewhere, took the drivers side rear light off and found this

The calliper's, disc's and spacers were looking a bit worse for wear so gave them a quick spruce up
didn't do the rears because one of the callipers needs replacing, so i'll wait till the replacement turns up.

the oil filter was looking a bit rusty so thought I best do an oil an filter change.

also got the rear hub spacers on and the Carbon lorranine pads on.
