I've mostly just had people blaring music tbf had to mute my own team a few times. Hoping to try my luck tomorrow morning seen as it came late Thursday. Wishful thinking maybe.

Has anyone else lost interest in Warzone with this on the horizon? I'm glad that the campaign comes a week early so should get that done in time for multiplayer to drop. Can't say I missed the slide cancelling that much but the sprint out times and ads times definitely cater to a more campy playstyle because if you're pre aimed you'll almost always have the upper hand. They said they're going to improve the fluidity of the movement in an update so hopefully that improves the delay between most movements and being able to shoot.

It’s always amused me when someone with a really high k/d and no captures on an objective based game starts giving people s**t when they’re on the losing team.

I wouldn't have minded trying it without loadouts and perks if groundloot was good but they was probably always going to bring it back otherwise how would they make so much money from bundles if people was restricted on using them in the game. I think the ground loot only style is what the new mode DMZ is all about so that could be interesting.

Much to @Bertie Smalls disappointment, Hunter’s point is irrelevant as you can see after he’s downed, the auto-ping it’s generated is clearly on the roof of the tent as Thug parachutes down. So you can see he isn’t “in” the tent, but was on it. Hence checking outside.

Ergo, Hunter is a berk.

- look / graphics: good.

- weapon feel / realistic nature of weapons: good.

- some of the maps in terms of layout / play style: not good.

- User interface for weapons and menu: grossly over complicated / not good.

- TTK: strange. Somewhere between “core / hardcore”

- laggy servers: not good (but it is a beta)

- Inability to party / stay with a party without it crashing: horrendous, irrelevant of whether it’s a beta, that’s the f**king basics.

Overall, a welcome change from the monotony that is now Warzone. Hoping for good things from the campaign, but fear Warzone 2 may be more of the same b****cks “meta / skin” rotation focus.

I thought the process of beta was to get feedback. I've had no option on giving any feedback to them like I have with other betas I've played.


I didn't play in a party because it constantly said everyone was offline.

I liked the outside/yard map in 6v6. The others were a bit too big IMO.

Gunsmith was a bit iffy.

Had moments of no sound through a few games.

Looking forward to it though, especially the campaign.

My negatives:

• Menus/UI was shocking
• Gunsmith seemed overly complicated
• Friends showing offline
• Aim assist was too strong
• Map balance needs work. Some felt too big for the player count

My positives:

• Guns felt meaty/satisfying
• Graphics looked good
• Movement being slower is better
• Modern world/weapons are just better
• Audio was good (Footsteps though were a wee bit loud).

I will be keeping my pre-order.

Moment speed ok, feels like cod, dolphin dives back

ttk is short, they’ll make it a 3 clip kill on release

Gunsmith went full r****d, unlocking a BR, then an AR to get a Sub.. it wasn’t even obvious, I had to google that.

3 maps are ok as tdm, 1 is cheeks for tdm but ok for dom etc. one I’ll call market is fine, but the tin roof map became a battle in mid map meta.. subs, hide behind the photocopier on all game modes.

the wood hotel type one was ok for all modes.

probably won’t rush out and buy it… good cod rests on good maps, it’s always the same game, but if the maps are garbage I won’t bother.

Treyarch are the only dev that makes a good set of maps and I never really enjoy the cods from any other dev.

For me it's..

Movement is a refreshing change from the old feeling but could do with faster sprint out times as it feels a bit clunky and favours a passive playstyle. Fortunately they've already said they are improving the fluidity of the movement in the full release.

UI is dogshit and over complicated. The gunsmith is okay but simple navigation through menus is harder than it needs to be.

Audio is much better now footsteps are very clear seen people complain that they're too loud which again can play into a passive playstyle but I'd rather them loud than not at all. Guns etc sound great.

Maps seemed okay but from what I saw from more professional feedback is that the spawn system is different to usual so sometimes you'd spawn middle map and wouldn't even know which way to go for enemies. Xclusiveace put out a video which covered that pretty well so I hope they improve that.


I had a few issues with killstreaks. Pissed one game I had a 10+ kill streak and when using one of the streaks it wouldn't let me active it so ended up the little device stuck on screen until the timer counted down in which time I was killed. Think it's 30 seconds and it wouldn't let me use it at all the whole game. I also had a big box covering the top left screen a few times which also looked kill streak related.

TTK does feel fast but again I saw some YouTuber might have been Ace again testing this and it wasn't particularly crazy numbers.

Game performance seemed odd as I was getting around 80 FPS even low settings I wouldn't see over 100. Didn't have enough time to try tinkering with PC or trying other games but a Google suggested I wasn't alone in that so will see how it is when the full game comes out.

Overall I'm pretty excited and looking forward to the early multiplayer which I think is a great idea otherwise I wouldn't be as likely to touch it. Not sure I'll play it as much providing Warzone is good plus plunder is still there if the TTK gets too annoying and it's always fun shitting on the plunder bots while learning the new map. Definitely a bunch of changes needed but it does seem the game has plenty of potential.
