Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Game had the most lag I've personally experienced with it yesterday. Unsure how it can be getting worse tbh.

Just do not enjoy this game, as much as it pains me to say it being a COD fanboy. Even debating selling it currently. Played 3 games yesterday and just got pissed off.
 
Haven't played this for almost 2 weeks now.

Can't say im missing it that much. Got rather bored of it all.
 
the maps just dont seem that special tbh none of them stupid small ones (that one with the crates on MW2) you can run round with shot guns blasting people either :(
 
I'm gonna whack Black Ops in when I get home. As long as that's still playable - really can't find a reason why not - I'll be selling MW3.

(And for the record I really enjoyed Black Ops despite the plenty of haters out there)

Same here, me and my mate play Blops, I haven't played MW3 in a week or two. Game is just as populated as it was before, in fact, when I went back to Blops a few days after MW3's release, there was about 200k people online, now it's usually over 400k.
 
I got the Hardened Edition for £69.99 and sold it yesterday to a game shop for £27. Even though i had the HE every where you go you get it for the normal game trade in price. Bit gutted to find out that like but just wasn't happy with the game and sold it. MW2 for me from now on

The connection and gameplay has been horrendous tonight for me, its like it was a few weeks back.

Host migration nearly every game because it cant seem to pick the f**king right host from the start. Horrible lag and hit detection, my god its been unreal. I would literally run round a corner by about 5 meters but then go down as if I was still in full sight of the other player shooting me!

Why has it suddenly gone worse again, surely I cant be the only one!
 
Yeah, I suffered yesterday with hit detection.

I've pretty much 100% gone back to Blops. Just gutted I have to wait till Xmas for Skyrim :(
 
Still haven't had any problems here really. No lag at all.
Had a few hit detection rages though. I put about 20 rounds into someones chest and they didn't die :(

Why? Not having fun on this anymore? You should look on my theatre I got a nice round winning kill on S&D. Got flashed did a drop shot quickscope for a hit marker and as I was getting back up I got a no scope headshot to finish him off lol. Also got a video of one of mine and sebs capture the flags beast sessions, seb got 5 kill streak straight away! If killing chickens counted...
 
I had something really odd happen before on this, four of their side were in a row doing nothing - so I proceeded to empty several rounds into them. They didn't die. Then somebody on my team threw in a grenade and killed all of us. HAO?!!

I am enjoying it though, it's a laugh. Still rocking the world with my UMP45 as ever. Like an übern00b.
 
P90 should go gold soon, it really is the gun for all occasions.

rapid fire & extended mags, with steady aim.

LOL! Yeah we had a good couple of games. When the connection works it is great. but generally the connection is poor. I do know they are working on more patches for the lag compensation problem.

I am enjoying doing the specialist class tbh at the moment. When you get all the perks you feel beast! I am certain when you kill someone it also gives you a short term speed increase too. Feel like he man!
 
Specialist package is definately for 1-man armies, but not sure about the speed increase... depends what perks you've got set I guess, may appear to be that way.

Might actually make it on tonight, hope the SWET CS is in full effect

Meh its ok...just get annoyed at it too much, never did with mw2 lol.
 
Like a boss.

I had a couple of games yesterday, bit of lag, nothing major, loads of host migrations though then at one point my screen froze, and it switched to the guy that killed me, going round the entire team killling one by one as they just stood still. Then it hung my xbox and i had to pull the power lead out. WTF!
 
Don't think I can bring myself to sell the game. Even though I'm not enjoying it, I will blindly have faith that the lag and such can be fixed and it will be enjoyable at some point. :o
 
f**k knows, never understood the obsession with them. Doubt mines at 1:1 or even close and couldn't careless.
 
Type 95 is a beast, my gun of choice although I hated it at first as you have to actually be accurate with it and that's something I'm not (Spray and pray FTW). Akimbo secondary, machine pistols, are f**king annoying; especially the FMG9. You've no chance coming head to head against someone using them and they take zero skill to use at all.
 
When does first dlc get announced?

Anyone know if it will be usual thing that xbox gets first? Guessing though that elite membership will mean that if you have that ps3 users will get it at same time as xbox?

Was going off this but good session yesterday and no lag at all.

Specialist kill streak is epic.
