Car in for a service just now! (172 cup)

Ive just put my car into the Renault garage at Killermont in Bearsden and im a bit nervous after hearing what happened to other peoples cars with renault! Ive taken a note of the mileage so hopefully I dont get any test pilots!

Its in for the 4k rattle, handbrake cable readjustment (not balanced properly) from when they replaced the back disks (which snapped) and also the cd player which makes a nice crunching noise!

Not much wrong then!

Well it doesnt look like they have done anything.

Reset the cd player(needed replaced)

Dont have the part for the handbrake

And nothing seems to have been tightened up in relation to the heatsheild as it still makes the noise!

Argh!

i find u take a visit for them to work out the problem, then it all gets sorted on the return visit when they got the parts.

mate i told you they are like this, in regard to the 4k rattle its more than likely it wont be a heatshield- the middle silencer actually breaks up inside and causes the rattle. what i had to do was get them to put the car on ramps with me there and show them, if you hit the middle box with a rubber mallet im sure you will hear the rattle. And like i said they replaced the whole centre section under warranty

Rite well i might leave hitting the exhaust with a mallet and go for a few of their heads! And the "reprogrammed cd player" (what a load of sh*t), is making the exactly the same whirring and crunching noise as b4.

My question is, what the hell were they doing with my car for 2 and a half hours?
