Clean Cup

Got the Karcher out today after it's winter hibernation and gave the arches a good blast, the amount of bugs and mud/road grime/stones that came out was terrifying. I doubt it's ever been properly cleaned underneath in it's lifetime.

I also gave the interior a vaccum and lifted up the back seats to surprisingly find a small puddle of water under the n/s rear seat. I recall the guy who won the PFC ph1 on here reporting water in the same place. Anyone know where it might be coming in from?

Anyway then I gave it a good wash with AG shampoo conditioner and some tyre shine to finish off.

I'll give it the works sometime soon including clay, polish and wax but this will do for now. Main thing today was getting the underbody clean.

I'm after some 2.0 16v badges if anyone has any for sale.

As it happens I decided to crank the dampers up so they're at full strength now, the car handles superb, the front end doesn't lift up as much under hard acceleration and it feels like I can get the power down better through the bends. I can now feel every single blemish in the road surface but it's not crashy so I think I'll leave as is and see how it goes.

Had an epic play with a guy on a motorbike earlier today down the lanes, had a massive smile on my face throughout.
