Made a start on stripping it today so it can be sent for paint whilst the engine and box is out of it. Some interesting bits on this car. The wheel scrapers being one and it’s
wide on the front.

Loads of parts stripped out and sold, now almost ready trot paint. It could of been a quick turn around but the wiring loom is such a mess I may even get the whole car rewired. It’s probably got more worries inside it than a road going clio.
Found a nice selection of spares with all the bits I got with the car.

Looks like a good base, nice bits like Reigers etc. Be nice to that gearbox though, hard to get parts for them now. If you want the special socket to remove the diff nut I have one, cost nearly £100!

You can get everything for them now as it’s still a popular gearbox in France. 2 companies have remanufactured all the parts so if I break it it’s not the end of the world. And I’d have to speak to @NorthloopCup for the socket as he’s the one that will be opening it up.

Ah I see, that's good news! Are they remaking the casings as well? That what went on my old one. The nut isn't the same as on the regular JC5 that you also need a special socket before. It's completely circular with key ways in it.

This one is now running again after selling it to my brother.
It’s hards a gearbox rebuild by @NorthloopCup, new engine with grp n timing, ktec bodies, cup racer exhaust. Looking forward to seeing what this does when it’s mapped in 2 weeks
