Little update
Home made induction kit. Temporarily I think.
Also got a new bumper lip, thought it was missing something after the bumper respray
I wanted a Laguna one but had no luck finding one. Ended up getting a clio mk2 which has vents to.
It fits straight on! no cutting, trimming etc.

You can just use yellow tint off ebay, costs about 99p for an A4 sheet just wrap it with a hair dryer.
I heated them with a heatgun for a bit, then just pulled them open. Well, its not "just" because it was hard to do and I ended up breaking one lens by prying too hard. had to get a new headlight off ebay.
but yeah, I put masking tape inside the headlight and taped up the indicator. Then using a scotch pad i roughened up the silver surface and sprayed it black. Took masking out, and I put the lens on. Because i didnt have clear silicone, when I put headlight together you could really see the silicone and it pissed me right off. So using fine tape I masked off a edge on the lens, again sanded it and sprayed it black. (an edge on the actual white lens.) Heres some photos.

If you are still thinking of going F4R conversion have a thread through the thread on my valver, I've documented it quite well and its not that hard tbh.
I like your car alot - I used to have a white ph3 that had an f7p in as well (im guessing thats what you've gone for from the inlet manifold piccie) my gf also has a ph3 1.2

I have to say, its been quite interesting watching how your build has progressed (I've only just signed up today and noticed). Although I also have a phase 3 Mk1 Clio, I've done slightly different mods to uprate the interior a bit, I still need to complete them (i.e. put the wiring in for the rear speakers, which results in removing the dashboard... changing that and the ECU - long story, but it might be beneficial if you want to know what you can do with the clio electrically, e.g. electric windows.)
Anyway, one thing I did notice, you've shown a pic of your door cards with different fabric. How did you remove the fabric from the door cards? I have 6 of them here and I put 2 in so I could have the extra speaker holes and apetures for the electric window switches, etc, but I've had concerns removing the fabric so I can replace mine with the Versailles type of fabric, reflecting the inteiror. I'm guessing you used a heat gun as I did when I tried it and I was more worried about melting the plastic than the glue.

Where and how does it go on the dtype? I looked at mine before I did the engine swap and don't get how you are going to do that?

This is a good read! Have me more motivation to get my finger out and crack on with mine! :lol: must say that plenum and cam cover looks lush! Is that candy apple red or Naples red? (783) either way it looks nice buddy. Any more updates? :approve:
