CS_dave 172 20v clio turbo

Hi all my names dave. I've recently bought this clio 172 to replace my rat look golf. The clio which is already a bit special built by Andyrg (clioturbo.co.UK) it goes very well. On drive home it went fine no issues with how it drives

Few bits I need to sort


Plans are to keep clean and tidy bits up over time

It's a vw Gray suits the clio very well I think

Yes chi used to own it. Owner before me bought it with 182 alloys he swapped for 172 which I shall be keeping and getting refurbed

I want to paint the plastics satin black also need a new front grille as one that's on it is a bit of a mess

Been away from cs for a fair bit have a fair bit to do with a Facebook group all seems fine Don no issues on way back apart from low mpg pmsl. Will see about shaky as one of the daughter's birthdays April so may be away

And I love how it's travelled around, it was brilliant to see when chi brought it round mine. The noise and heat from the thing was immense.

It's a great car I know Tom the owner before me well and wanted it straight away tbh when he was selling a few months ago I wasn't able to take it but asked for first refusal this time and got it hope to keep a while

Dunno yet dave think may have babies birthday stuff planned ain't sure after buying the turbo I'm being careful with the wife as she looks at me with angry eyes now pmsl

Well a bit of a sad day today

Sold my ratta golf which was a decent car and did me well but had to make way for the clio

After this I took off the sticker from the rear bumper as I'm after a very oem clean look as much as I can anyway

Needs a clean again bloody weather also got a top grille as the one that's one has broken ends so will need a paint then fit. Hope to do that this weekend

Cars running as my daily great no issues no over heating very pleased doing well on fuel to for a 300bhp car. Enjoying being back in a clio as it handles so well really missed that in the golf but miss the 5 doors now. Can't win them all

It's a BAM lump AGU head running td05 18g turbo happy with the power she's making don't need any more
